A building keeps changing
A connected environment moves through design, procurement, preparation, installation and operation. Different people act at each stage. Information that exists only in a drawing, a message or one engineer’s memory becomes difficult to reuse when a project changes hands.
What the design workbench already makes visible
Manager’s floor-plan editor brings room boundaries, openings and device placement onto one canvas. A space-and-device sidebar keeps those objects inspectable, while overlap checks expose geometry that needs attention. Its design workflow separates the active design version, the results snapshot and the commercial quote. Lighting-circuit assignments still require explicit review: a marker on a drawing does not contain every engineering decision.
Make design decisions into structured assets
The detailed-design architecture being developed around Homira Manager treats rooms, devices, placement and configuration relationships as structured data. Drawings and configuration are intended to become outputs of those assets. This is an engineering direction with staged implementation, rather than a claim that every connection in the workflow is already automated.
Publish a known state
A release boundary separates work in progress from a configuration intended for downstream use. The architectural direction is to project a frozen detailed-design snapshot into Studio, while keeping installation-specific corrections in the home context. That distinction creates a clearer answer to a practical question: which version was this installation prepared and released against?
Govern the software as carefully as the configuration
Harness is Tecco’s internal R&D control platform. Its product map covers App/Panel, Energy, Manager, Studio and Enterprise. Specifications link to repository context and supporting documents. A six-stage path moves through initiation, design and contract gates before Alpha, Beta and release. Prototype review and QA boundary checks make engineering evidence part of that progression. This is our development infrastructure, not a claim that every mapped capability is already released.
Continue into operation
Homira Enterprise provides a building-level operational surface. Energy consumption, solar generation and system flows can be considered together. This operational perspective closes an important conceptual loop: software must remain useful after the initial configuration work is finished.
